The Town of Eastchester, New York has approximately 31,000 residents according to the last US census in 2000. The town was settled in 1664 by 10 families that came from Fairfield, Connecticut. Eastchester was a farming community in the middle 1700's. Aaron Burr tried cases at the St. Paul's Church in the 1790's, when Westchester County had a courthouse in Eastchester.

Eastchester is home to the Marble Schoolhouse, a vintage 1835 one room schoolhouse constructed with renowned "Tuckahoe Marble." The Eastchester Town Hall was originally a farm and is now uniquely utilized as both the home to town departments and civic functions.
