The Village Of Elmsford

The Village of Elmsford is located in the southwestern section of Westchester Count and has a population of approximately 4600 residents. The Village of Elmsford is located in the Town of Greenburgh.

It is believed that the term “cocktail” originated in Elmsford, when out of wooden stirrers, tavern patrons were given rooster tails to stir their drinks.

Directions To Our Office

To get to our office from the Village Hall, start from South Stone Avenue toward North Stone Avenue. Make a right onto SR–9A. Turn right onto Frontage Street. Take ramp on the left and follow signs for I–287 East/Cross Westchester Expressway. Get off at Exit 8W and proceed to the traffic light, (Near the Westchester Mall) where you will take a left onto Bloomingdale Road. Immediately move to the right lane to make a right turn onto Maple Avenue. Proceed up Maple Avenue through 5 traffic lights. Just after the intersection at the 5th light with Mamaroneck Avenue, turn into the Chester–Maple Garage. Our building at 200 Mamaroneck Avenue is located just to the west of the intersection of Maple and Mamaroneck Avenues.
