The Village Of Sleepy Hollow

The Village of Sleepy Hollow has a population of 9,200. Sleepy Hollow is in the Town of Mount Pleasant.

The village is the burial place of noted American author Washington Irving, who wrote the epic Legend of Sleepy Hollow. The village adopted its current name in his honor in 1996.

DIRECTIONS TO OUR OFFICE

To get to our office from the Sleepy Hollow Village Hall, begin on Beekman Avenue heading toward US–9/ N Broadway, and make a right onto US–9/ N Broadway. Take ramp on the left for I–87 East/ I–287 South/ New York State Thruway South. Stay to the left onto I–287 East/ Cross Westchester Expressway. Get off at Exit 8W and proceed to the traffic light, where you will take a left onto Bloomingdale Road. Immediately get over to the right lane to make a right turn onto Maple Avenue. Proceed up Maple Avenue through 5 traffic lights. Just after the intersection at the 5th light with Mamaroneck Avenue, turn into the Chester–Maple Garage. Our building at 200 Mamaroneck Avenue is located just to the west of the intersection of Maple and Mamaroneck Avenues.
